2013 CARR SCHOLARSHIP in SCIENCE & RELIGION AWARDED to STEFANI RUPER

After studying astrobiology at Dartmouth, Stefani Ruper came to the Boston University School of Theology to study religion as a source of depth and meaning.

She wants to find ways to help people who are married to the principles of science to connect with the spiritual depth structures of the world.

Her interest is in developing notions of ultimacy and working with their implications. One of her long term goals in life is to facilitate theological discussions of these ideas among agnostics, atheists, materialist, scientists in the world.   The metaphysical landscape is rich and compelling, and she would like to be able to share that with as many people who might enjoy and benefit from it as she has.
